Here’s our fanvideo we made for We Are Scientists to show them how much Russia loves them and waiting for their concert which is april 6th.
W.A.S. actually called it ‘Official video for “BREAK IT UP”’ so i can die a happy person, but what makes me even more happy and proud are all that amazing people, who have participated and helped me and Skazzochnizza create this video!

Oh god, the lulz. It hurts.
I am disappoint :( Count me as one of the 10 or 20
DTL: On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being least likely, 10 being most likely, what are the chances of ever ever performing songs that are pre-Wolf’s Hour? Even though there’s a demand for it?
Keith: Zero. Negative eight. There is no demand for it.
DTL: Yes there is, there’s such a demand for it. There’s people yelling out for “Selective Memory” at shows.
Keith: There’s a very limited, limited percent of demented criminals…
DTL: You’ve never thought of re-working it? Just to please, ok maybe the 10 or 20 of us that want to hear it?
Keith: Oh there’s so many better songs to play. Ok. I guess if we were to one day, booked a show and we were charged to play a five and a half hour set. Those might come out. Actually we might just jam for a while.
Friends, on Friday I got the opportunity to interview my favorite band, We Are Scientists, for the LA music blog Downtown Lobby.
It was a surreal experience and something I’d never expect I’d do. Yes, I’ve run What’s the Word for years, but I never thought about interviewing them because, hell it’s Chris and Keith. I watch and read enough interviews and there’s a billion questions I would LOVE to ask them, but I’ve always been far too shy and scared to ask them myself. Then this came up about a day and a half before the show, and I couldn’t say no. I could’ve- but I didn’t. And there ya have it.
And I know I say it a lot, but I really, truly love these guys. I’m very thankful for this opportunity from Downtown Lobby, and I’m so proud to be a We Are Scientists fan.
I wish more people in American crowds knew what to do during the opening of We Are Scientists - The Great Escape. Lucky Europeans.
Welcome to Icarus II: OH MY GOD WE ARE SCIENTISTS.
Went to see We Are Scientists last night. An amazing concert. Keith didn’t jump in the crowd to sing Textbook with us this time, but we did get a rousing live Jack & Ginger. One of the more memorable facepalm moments occurred when 2 drunk blonde girls moved in front of me and my friends. They would not stop screaming. I wanted to choke them. Apparently I wasn’t the only one.
Unfortunately, between sets, two drunk girls with matching fake tans and bleached blond hair managed to wedge themselves behind us, obstructing my view of the Cute British Guy (TM). Not only did they obstruct my view, but they also decided that it would be appropriate to scream “I LOVE YOU!” at everybody who was passing by and also to slosh alcohol all over Kelsey.
Finally, after one of the girls emptied her entire bottle over Kelsey’s back, we made a stand and told them to “back the fuck off” because they were noisy and obnoxious and pretty much giant whores. They finally left us alone and went to bother some other guys.
