When I heard Can’t Stop Partying was making the leap from River’s solo album to Weezer’s next album, I didn’t expect much change to the song. I figured Lil Wayne would just spit one of the normal verses. I didn’t expect the song to be teleported in to a techno disco.

It seems weird. River’s Can’t Stop Partying was fun because it was rap lyrics over an acoustic guitar. This is just weird. It’s like a joke that went too far.

That said, this song is still awesome.
