- Tyreke Evans. Probably the first kings draft pick in years that I can say that I’ve watched videos of before the Kings drafted him. But that could easily have been said for Rubio, Flynn, Curry, etc. The information age is amazing.
I like the pick. I don’t expect him to ever be a great shooter because of how long his arms are. But I love the slashing and finishing. If he was a better passer, he would be amazing for this team.
- Jonny Flynn. Approaching the draft, it seemed like Jonny Flynn was going to be the Kings pick. So I watched a bunch of videos and read about him and he seemed like a cool dude. I really like him. But then again, I have a fondness for the Aaron Brooks and Nate Robinsons of the league.
- Ricky Rubio. I can’t believe you’re not a King. Good luck with the Wolves. I also own the trademark to Bricky Rubio. Make me rich Ricky!
- Omri Casspi. I know nothing about you. But you speak better english than Rubio.
- Sergio Rodriguez. I seriously thought we traded for Rudy Fernandez for at least 20 minutes. My bad Sergio. I know nothing about you either.
- Jon Brockman. I know nothing about you.
- Jrue Holiday. Your name is still awesome.
- Hasheem Thabeet. Last night I was listening to Kanye on “Get Em High” and realized he was saying “Trying to catch the beat” at the beginning. I’m glad that wasn’t a sign.
-Brandon Jennings is a steal at #10. He might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s a left handed magician with the ball. Him showing up late in the show was hilarious.
